Little Red Designs is now open again after the Christmas break. Yes, the New Year is upon us! Here at LRD we have been sorting out the Year Calendar for the wall, clearing the notice board of Christmas stuff, working on orders (seems like a lot of people got Kindles & iPhone 4's for Christmas) and planning new designs.
We're hoping to launch a range of iPad cases and new motifs for our purses, Kindle covers and iphone cosies so watch this space. We have also been contacted by some more prospective stockists; 2012 is already raring to go!
Due to an unprecedented number of bespoke orders we received this year, we had to shut up shop early! Very sorry for any Christmas shopping disappointment this may have caused. Here at Little Red Designs, all pieces are made by hand, and unfortuantely there is a finite number of items that can be made before the last dispatch dates.
All items will be available to order again from begining of January 2012; so if you missed out, perhaps you can treat yourself with some of your Christmas money then!
Little Red Designs will be taking a well earned break from the sewing machine and leather glue from 23 December to 09 January 2012. But don't panic! Although no 'making' will be happening, we are still contactable via the contact us page, facebook and twitter!

Yes, they are finally ready; a few weeks later than planned but absense makes the heart grow fonder!
These
new covers fit the new smaller Kindle (without a keyboard) that were
launched in the UK September 2011. Like all Little Red Designs Kindle
Covers; they are beautifully handmade from Nappa Leather and lined with
satin fabrics.
The previous Kindle is now called the Kindle Keyboard.
They still come with a magnetic clasps, but thanks to some great feedback from my
customers, I now also offer a version that closes with wrap around
elastic, rather than a magentic clasp... This keeps the buttons on the
side of the Kindle free and does not stop you from turning the pages if
you are right handed...
